Financial Assistance for Programs
YMCAs are charitable organizations dedicated to serving people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities, and incomes. Operating on a community-based model, the YMCA believes that its programs and services should be accessible to everyone.
To support this mission, we offer a Financial Assistance Program, which uses a sliding fee scale tailored to each individual’s financial situation. Charitable contributions to the YMCA fund this financial assistance program. We are committed to providing support to everyone who qualifies, to the greatest extent possible, depending on the availability of funds.
How to Apply:
If you are interested in applying for financial assistance, complete the application and submit it along with the required documents listed to FA@ymcawcf.org or stop by a Member Services Desk and ask for a confidential application.
*Anyone looking for financial assistance for afterschool, childcare, or summer camp must first apply and be denied for school readiness assistance through ELC. See link below for details.

SCHOLARSHIP PRINCIPLES
- The Y gives assistance to anyone who desires to participate, regardless of their ability to pay established membership or program fees. This may be due to temporary unemployment, unexpected medical expenses or other extenuating circumstances.
- Those not able to pay the full fee may receive assistance based on their financial ability. The Y Scholarship Program reduces membership and/or program fees; it does not eliminate them.
- Our Scholarship Program is funded through generous contributions from individuals and businesses in the community to the YMCA Community Support Campaign, Helping Others.
